Denise, our Lead Veterinary Technician, is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Kentucky, where she majored in Biology/Pre-Veterinarian Medicine. She has been employed in the animal science field for over 17 years. Her work experience includes over 12 years in veterinary hospital practices and 5 years working in a veterinary medical research laboratory.
Denise has always had a love of animals and has many of her own. In her spare time, Denise likes to garden, fish, read non-fiction books, and crochet. She has been employed at All Creatures Pet Hospital since 2006, where she continues to provide invaluable care to all patients.
Ramsey Scott has been working in the veterinary and animal care fields for over 15 years. She has worked and lived on farms and ranches. She has even worked at the zoo! Ramsey has experience handling and owning all types of animals, big and small, from rats to horses. Originally from Mobile, Ramsey moved to the Hoover area at the age of 13 and began immediately volunteering for the Humane Society of Shelby County, a post which she proudly held for 7 years. Although her degree is in Multicultural Communications with a focus on Spanish and American Sign Language, Ramsey's passion has always been in animal care. In her spare time, she tends to her 3 cats and 1 dog and often foster pets needing homes. Ramsey always strives to provide great care to all patients and clients and looks forward to serving pet's needs with her wonderful team members.
Michele Neely is the Lead Receptionist at All Creatures Pet Hospital. She has been working at the hospital since March 2014. Michele has a certificate in Animal Care and Science, and has worked in Customer Service for over 10 years. She has 3 dogs (Sherman, Ellie, and Leia), 1 cat (Sera), and a husband at home. When not at work, Michele likes to spend time with her family and enjoys online gaming. Her goal is to have everyone leave All Creatures with a good, educational experience, and to help clients in any way she can!
Josie Fields is a Veterinary Technician at All Creatures Pet Hospital. She is the mother of three beautiful children and two wonderful pets. Josie has been a part time technician the past twelve years, while raising her family. Josie loves her career and has a real passion for her field. Josie is so excited to be part of the All Creatures family, where we treat pets as our own.
Barbara Quick has happily served many years in animal care and rescue. She volunteers at Missing Link Rescue every chance I can get. Barbara has a beautiful daughter and an American Bulldog, Shy, who she rescued. She is the Lead Kennel Technician, which means that she oversees Doggie Daycare, boarding, bathing, and general kennel care for pets. It is her mission to work hard to ensure that all pets are treated like family!
DeAnna Cummings is the newest recruit to the All Creatures Family! She is the second receptionist and works closely with clients and employees to make sure that they are given the best care possible! Deanna is adopted and comes from a family of 23! She has 4 years of veterinary experience, and veterinary care runs in herfamily. Deanna has a 9 year old rescued Yellow Lab named Gunner. Pets and their care are her number one priority!
